How to Add a New Resident with Import Button
Adding a new resident using information that is in MatrixCare to your community is easy with SeniorSign. Follow these simple steps to get started.

Step 1: Access the Dashboard
Navigate to the dashboard and use the plus icon or the right-hand menu to begin adding a new resident.
Step 2: Select Import
Click the '+' icon on the left-hand menu.
Choose "Import" from the options.
Step 3: Authenticate the Connection
A window will pop up displaying a Matrix or PCC button.
Click the appropriate button to begin the connection authentication process.
Once the connection is complete, you will see a list of residents.
Step 4: Search for the Resident
Use the search bar to type in the resident's name, or scroll through the list.
Click “Select” to the right of the resident’s name. This will auto-populate the resident’s information.
Step 5: Complete Resident Details
Click "Next" to proceed.
Select the resident's care type from the available options.
Enter the unit number where the resident will stay.
Choose the Community Assignee using the dropdown menu.
Note: The "Community Assignee" selected will receive all notifications related to this resident's packet.
Step 6: Select Packet Template and Due Date
Click "Next" to proceed.
Choose the Packet template you want the resident to complete.
Select a due date for the packet (note: this is not the move-in date).
Step 7: Finalize the Process
Click "Finish" to complete the process.
Congratulations! You have successfully added a new resident to the system.
