Step 1: Select the Resident

Start by selecting the resident’s current packet. You can find the resident on your main dashboard if they are active, or you may need to search the archive if the resident is not listed.

Step 2: Access the “Add Packet” Option
Once you’ve selected the resident, use the drop-down menu in the top-right corner of your screen and choose "Add Packet."

Step 3: Choose the Care Type
You'll be prompted to select the care type for the new packet. If the resident is staying at the same care level, simply confirm that choice. If the resident is transitioning to a different care level, select the appropriate option (e.g., moving from independent living to assisted living).

Step 4: Enter Room Information
Next, input the resident’s room, apartment, or suite number, and select the Community Assignee. This is the user who will receive notifications about the packet, such as when the resident submits it for review or if they decline to sign.

Step 5: Select the Packet to Add
Click Next, then select the packet you wish to add. Depending on your community's process, you may have different packet types. For example, you may have separate pre-assessment and post-assessment packets for assisted living agreements. Choose the appropriate packet from the drop-down menu.

If the resident is transferring to another care level, such as memory care, you can select the relevant packet for that level of care.

Step 6: Set the Due Date
After selecting the packet, set a due date using the calendar icon to choose a desired date for the packet’s completion.

Step 7: Finish the Process
If everything looks correct, click Finish to finalize the process.

Navigate Between Packets

Once the new packet is added, you can easily switch between the two active packets for the resident using the drop-down menu in the top-right corner of your screen.
