How to Add a New Resident with Import Button

Adding a new resident using information that is in PCC to your community is easy with SeniorSign. Follow these simple steps to get started.

1: Using the Plus Icon

Click the '+' icon on the left-hand menu to start adding a new resident.

2: Click "Import" Button

This is located below the Resident Information fields by the "Next" button.

Once you have clicked the plus icon, choose "Import" from the options presented.

3: Connecting to PCC

A window will pop-up displaying a PCC button. Click on the button to begin the connection authentication process. After you sign in and complete the authentication, a new SeniorSign browser window will confirm that your account has been successfully authenticated. You can close this window.

4: Using the Search Bar

Click on "Import" and the PCC button again and a search bar will appear. You can use the search bar to type in the resident's name, or scroll and click “Select” to the right of the resident’s name. This will auto-populate the resident’s information.

5: Completing the Process

Once you have selected the resident, click “Next.” You will then need to select the resident's care type and enter the unit number. Next, choose the Community Assignee using the drop down menu. Please note that the "Community Assignee" selected will be the user who receives all notifications for this packet.

Click "Next" and then select which Packet template you want the resident to complete. Finally, choose a due date (this is not a move-in date) and click "Finish".

Congratulations, you have now successfully added your first resident using SeniorSign!
